Sonang Vang, 14 years old uses her foot to practice her Khmer at home in Toul Om Peam village, Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. Sonang is completley dependant on her family for nearly all daily activities. Marist Solidarity Cambodia has provided her with a wheel chair and her family with money to help with her costs.  Sonang has recently started attending a local community school where she has learnt to write using her foot. Sonang is now just learning Khmer but dreams to one day learn English.
