NGO & Humanitarian: The World Bank: Dirona Franklin (pink shirt ) stands with others from Walalai Village in a large tree that hangs ove

Dirona Franklin (pink shirt ) stands with others from Walalai Village in a large tree that hangs over the ocean. Dirona is 29 years old and married with 1 child. Dirona has mixed feelings about the East Cape Road being sealed. She is worried that with easy access to town once the road is sealed young people will not focus on working in the gardens but be more interested in visiting Alatau. At the same time Dirona also sees the positive side of the road being sealed as it will mean better access to health services particularly for women. Currently women in her village have to walk 3 hours to the local health centre.
