MARCO SHEM - VANUATU

Marco Shem, a Nivanuatu man lives in a small village on Epi Island, Vanuatu. On this day, like many others, Marco collects a large bunch of watercress from a creek and walks it out into the ocean so that large saltwater fish can feed on small sweetwater fish that live under the vegetable patch. Marco will return by night to catch the bigger fish before harvesting the vegetables and providing a complete meal for his family.
