Felicity

Felicity's life has been unimaginably difficult from a very young age. Unlike their childhood or teenage years, later on in adulthood provided some stability for Felicity.

Looking inwards, Felicity has already started to challenge and challenge all aspects of their identity and how they experience and make sense of the world.

Felicity and I met a few years ago by creating participatory films about harm reduction for a local health service. Since our early meeting, we've continued to stay in close contact. During Covid lockdowns in 2021, I began regularly taking portraits of Felicity. Over time, Felicity has started sending me text messages written reflections in response to the pictures and what these images bring up for them.
